Our Adventure on Main Street

Today, we had a bike riding adventure. After a couple of bike problems we headed off towards Main Street. We explored many shops.

This is us by a cute shop. This is the only picture. We would've taken more of us by a cute building and crispy leaves and darling books...

BUT Megan's camera died!

So at the beginning of our adventure, we had taken the last picture.

S'more Cupcakes Please

For dessert on Sunday I made delicious s'more cupcakes.

The chocolate cupcake was moist and everything turned out perfect! Yes!

This cupcake was a chocolate cupcake with gramcrackers and marshmellows mixed in the batter. It had a fluffy meringue frosting that was browned.

Mockingjay

Yesterday I (Megan) finished Mockingjay.
It's the last book in the Hunger Games trilogy.

It was so great! These books are my favorite books!!!
 I read for almost 4 hours, and loved it.

This trilogy is a must read!! I can't wait until the movie comes out!!!

P.S. I LOVED the ending!!!!

COOKIES!! (not cupcakes)

Today, we decided to make chocolate chip cookies! A change from our normal cupcake baking. But we encountered a problem... we didn't have enough shortening. The problem was solved by having Savanna's mom going to the store to get some.

Here's the recipe to our yummy cookies:

2/3 c soft shortening

2/3 c butter

1 c sugar

1 c brown sugar

cream all ingredients together

Add 2 eggs

1 t vanilla

mix

3 c flour

1 t salt

1 t baking soda

Add chocolate chips!

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

The most delicious chocolate chip cookie EVER!!!

CUPCAKES!

Yesterday we had a great adventure to Vintage Cupcake Co.

It was AWESOME!

We both squealed at this! Anything that has Audrey Hepburn is going to make us happy!

This cupcake bakery had the CUTEST shop. It was darling. We both loved it

 and squealed when we went inside. We were so excited!!!
