Today, we decided to make chocolate chip cookies! A change from our normal cupcake baking. But we encountered a problem... we didn't have enough shortening. The problem was solved by having Savanna's mom going to the store to get some.
Here's the recipe to our yummy cookies:
2/3 c soft shortening
2/3 c butter
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
cream all ingredients together
Add 2 eggs
1 t vanilla
mix
3 c flour
1 t salt
1 t baking soda
Add chocolate chips!
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
The most delicious chocolate chip cookie EVER!!!
